VIDEO PRODUUCTION

PUBLIC RADIO

Beginning in 1998, after 25 years on public radio in New York as program host of jazz and classical music programs, James Luce spearheaded a decade-long series of globally-distributed, award-winning documentaries in partnerships with WBGO-FM in Newark, New Jersey, WTRI in Philadelphia, Public Radio International in Minneapolis, The American Jazz Museum in Kansas City, and National Public Radio in New York and Washington, DC. These programs told the definitive stories of several of the most prominent American musicians of all time - on the occasions of the centennial celebrations of their births - and they aired worldwide through NPR’s PRSS, Public Radio Satellite Service.
